Accessibility statement
This translation is provided for information only. The Polish version of this document is the binding one.
Drawn up on 5 August 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment. Last reviewed: 5 August 2026.
BOL-MET Spółka z Ograniczoną Odpowiedzialnością makes an effort to keep bol-met.pl usable for everyone, whatever equipment they use and however they get online. We designed it to the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.
Status: partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The assessment is our own, not an external audit. The limitations are listed below and we are not hiding them.
We publish this statement voluntarily. We are not a public body, so the Polish Act on digital accessibility of public entities' websites (ustawa o dostępności cyfrowej stron podmiotów publicznych) does not apply to us. We are also a micro-enterprise: the company is run by two board members and employs no staff, and micro-enterprises providing services are excluded from the obligations under the legislation implementing the European Accessibility Act. We write about accessibility all the same, because we sell to municipalities, schools and nurseries, for whom it is sometimes part of how an offer is assessed.
What that means in practice
- The whole site, including the cart and the order form, can be operated with the keyboard alone.
- The element that has focus is clearly marked with an outline.
- There is a "Skip to content" link at the start of the page that jumps past the menu.
- Text and background contrast was chosen to meet the level AA requirements.
- Images have alternative text, and decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields have associated labels, and error messages are announced by screen readers.
- The site works at 200% zoom with no loss of content and no horizontal scrolling.
- Animations switch off when the system's reduced motion setting is on.
- The heading structure is logical, with one first level heading per page.
Known limitations
- We have not carried out an external accessibility audit or testing with screen reader users. The statement rests on a self-assessment.
- The assembly photos come from real installations and vary in quality. We wrote the alternative text by hand.
- The colour configurator shows an indicative visualisation. The colours chosen are described in words along with the RAL code, so the information does not rest on colour alone.
- Downloadable PDF documents may not meet every accessibility requirement. On request we will send their content in another form.
Alternative access
If any part of the site is impassable for you, we can deal with the whole thing by phone or by email: we will read the content out, take the order, send the offer as a plain text email. Call 507 440 718, every day 08:00–20:00, or write to kontakt@bol-met.pl.
Reporting a problem
We take reports at kontakt@bol-met.pl and on 507 440 718. In your report please give the page address, a description of the problem and a convenient way to reach you.
We usually reply within 15 minutes, and at the latest within 7 days. If fixing the problem takes longer, we will give a new date and make the content available another way in the meantime. If our response does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the authority responsible for supervising the accessibility of products and services.
